I had asked Javier for a massage after already walking many kilometers on the Camino. He even came to my accommodation with all his equipment. Javier is very friendly, and the massage did me a world of good. Because of an injury, he gave me some helpful tips, for which I am very grateful. Thank you so much for everything, Javier!

I booked the services quickly and easily through WhatsApp, and it was by far the best decision I made on our Camino de Santiago. I booked massages with Javi at our accommodation in Pontevedra, and he left us feeling completely refreshed. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful. He accommodated our arrival time and individual physical needs. I would definitely book with him again and recommend him 100%. We can continue our journey tomorrow feeling renewed.

We discovered Pontewellness as a gift, and thanks to Javi's excellent service, we'll definitely keep it in mind for the future.

The massage is very comprehensive, treating the entire body, and he gauges your tolerance with different pressure levels to ensure it doesn't become uncomfortable.

The room is beautifully decorated to create a relaxing experience, and it's also equipped with air conditioning, which is a real plus for those of us who tend to get hot easily.

PonteWellness was an amazing massage. We had Javier and his “ Magic hands”. This was just what we needed half way through our Camino. He knew all the right places that needed attention. He was extremely professional and respectful. His pricing is extremely affordable and he was prompt. I feel ready for the rest of the Camino and look forward to any amazing rest tonight. If you are in PonteVedra book a pilgrim massage. You won’t regret it.

After an exhausting day of walking, my back and legs were aching. From the very first moment, Javi was incredibly kind, and the massage was amazing. I left feeling like new and ready to continue the route the next day. If you're doing the Camino, stopping here is a must. Thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism!

I went for an Integrative Massage after a really tough week and left feeling like a new person. From the moment I lay down on the massage table, it was total relaxation: the sensation of the oils, the tranquil atmosphere, everything was perfect. Javier has incredible hands; you can tell he knows what he's doing, and he gave me great advice on the type of massage that best suited my needs.
I slept wonderfully that night and woke up feeling great (despite the muscle soreness, but he had warned me about that. I've had worse).
Already saved to my favorites ☺️ I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing experience. They were so helpful with finding a time to book an appointment that worked for our schedule. The pilgrim massage was absolutely perfect for what we needed, they are clearly experts at knowing where Pilgrims are sore. Highly recommend if you need a massage!

We were walking the Camino and spent a rest day in Pontevedra. We decided at the last minute we wanted to find a place for a 'Pilgrim Massage' and Pontewellness Massage was the perfect place. We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Javier was kind enough to fit us into his busy schedule even though we reached out at the last minute. He only had 30 minutes available for each of us, but that short session made such a huge difference for our tired, sore bodies. His hands are truly incredible! He even followed up a couple of times to provide dinner recommendations and check on us the next day. Thank you so much, Javier — we really appreciate you!

The massage was incredible. I went for some muscle tension and left feeling like a new person. The professionalism and care she puts into each massage is truly remarkable. Besides relieving my tension, I left feeling incredibly relaxed. I will definitely return when I go back to Galicia. Highly recommended!

Superhuman hands! This was THE greatest massage of my life. I opted for the Pilgrim’s massage as I’m walking the Camino Português, and my body is exhausted. He knew exactly where and how I needed most attention, and was very considerate in asking if the pressure was just right and if I was OK. Professional, respectful, made me feel safe, and a stellar massage to boot— if I were sticking around Pontevedra I’d definitely be a regular of his!

From the moment I reached out about my appointment (I was gifted a session for Mother’s Day-EXCELLENT gift, by the way!!) Javier was very welcoming and accommodating. He truly cares about the experience he is giving to his clients and it shows. The massage was incredible. He is a true professional and I cannot wait to go back for another Quiromasaje sometime soon!

The service was exceptional, particularly with a visit to Hostal Perigrino despite the studio being fully booked. I highly recommend Javier, a true professional who worked miracles after a long day of walking.
Thanks again Javier 🤩

Javier exceeded every expectation I had walking in as a one-time traveler. Most therapists in that situation give you a perfunctory Swedish massage and call it done — Javier did the complete opposite. He put in a level of focused, hands-on effort I’ve rarely experienced, working the muscles deeply and intentionally the entire session. The deep tissue work was genuinely exceptional. He maximized every minute, and I left feeling like I’d gotten more benefit from that single session than from many I’ve had at home with my regular therapist. If you’re lucky enough to get on his table, you’re in for something special.

After days of walking the Camino, Javier’s deep tissue massage in Pontevedra was exactly what I needed. He is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and attentive, taking the time to understand where my body was holding tension from the long days on the trail.

The massage was both deeply therapeutic and relaxing — firm enough to work out tight muscles and soreness, but done with real care and precision. I walked in exhausted with aching legs and shoulders, and left feeling renewed, lighter, and ready to continue the Camino.

Javier creates a calm and welcoming environment, and his skill and professionalism truly stand out. If you are walking the Camino and need recovery, relief, or simply one of the best massages in Pontevedra, I cannot recommend him highly enough. An outstanding experience from start to finish.
